Event Preview
The enthralling action on the NASCAR Cup Series continues this weekend, as the Cracker Barrel 400 is set for Nashville. This weekend’s race forms the 14th race of the regular season, and it is staged at a crucial stage of the campaign ahead of the five-race In-Season Challenge, which gets underway at the end of June.
The Cracker Barrel 400 is one of the newest races on the NASCAR schedule, as it has only been involved on the Cup Series calendar since 2021. Drivers will complete 400 miles this Sunday, which is made up of 300 laps. The first stage will see 90 laps completed, before 95 and 115 laps are covered in the second and final stage, respectively.

The Drivers’ Championship standings make for interesting reading at this stage of the season. William Byron moved back to the summit last weekend after finishing second in the Coca-Cola 600, with Ross Chastain ending his winless run in the Crown Jewel race.
Kyle Larson relinquished top spot in the standings last weekend, finishing 37th in the NASCAR race just hours after crashing out at the half way stage in the Indy 500. However, a renewed effort is likely by the Cup Series favorite this weekend, as he bids to get his championship push back on track.
Christopher Bell has been one of the most consistent drivers so far this season. Aside from winning three straight races earlier in the campaign, he has only finished outside of the top ten in one of the last seven races.
Cracker Barrel 400 Picks
Plenty of drivers will feel as though they have a good chance in the Cracker Barrel 400 this weekend. However, a case could be made for Ryan Blaney. The driver has finished in the top five in all but two of the last six rounds, and he has finished third in two of the last three races. He could be set to go a few places better this Sunday.
