An interesting edition of the Bass Pro Shops Night Race last weekend threw up some notable results, ultimately leading to the departures of Alex Bowman and Austin Dillon at the round of 16.
Christopher Bell was the big winner last weekend, as his victory saw him climb up the Drivers’ Championship standings to fourth. His result looked even better given that none of the top three managed to finish in the top ten.
It was also a productive weekend for Ryan Blaney, who has now finished fourth in each of the last two races. Chase Briscoe’s reliable form was also maintained after finishing in the top ten for the third straight playoff race.
USA Today 301 Picks
An interesting race is set for this weekend, but it could be worth following the in-form Christopher Bell. Hot on the heels of his win last weekend, he holds obvious claims after winning two of the last three editions of the USA Today 301.
