Game Preview

Vikings are 4-0, and we have to say, nobody expected that. But now comes a big challenge as they head to face the wounded Saints. Vikings will have to back up the numbers and show why they currently stand as the best defense in the NFL, allowing 12 points per game.

There was one noticeable thing we have to mention. They beat the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay, 23-16, and the Fins at home, 15-10, but Minnesota didn’t dominate either game. All 15 points against the Dolphins were via FG. Keep that in mind.

The Saints lost to the Falcons on Monday Night Football, 45-24, officially becoming the league’s worst scoring defense. They allow 32 points per game and have the third-best run defense, allowing 147.8 yards per game.

Tyler Shough is very good at passing, and the Saints are the 4th-best passing team with 278.5 per game, but their running game is terrible, generating only 88.5 per contest. This makes New Orleans one-dimensional and easy to stop in key moments.

Vikings vs. Saints Predictions

Shough and the boys will go full speed and all-in right from the start. They have nothing to lose at the moment. If they manage to gain momentum, and we strongly believe they will, the Vikes are going to experience one tough reality check. We already saw certain flaws and struggles against Miami, and it looked like Minnesota was slowing down.
