Against the Chargers, he ran 66 yards on 10 carries; against the Texans, only 10 on 4, but we saw him decide the game in Denver with 10 runs and 65 yards for a touchdown and some key first downs after that. So he’s been reading the defenses very well and using his speed to move the chains. And against Seattle’s defense, which is, by the way, very effective against running backs, yet not tested against the QB who can run themselves, we just might see Maye doing a great job. The chances for that are excellent.

Let’s be straight, this guy is excellent, but the Pats run defense looks good as well, especially in the playoffs. Sure, their rivals weren’t some heavy-run teams in the first place, but the allowed yards on the ground were like this:
- Chargers 87 Yards
- Texans 47 Yards
- Broncos 79 Yards
As stated, all these teams have had problems with their rushers, yet we have to point out that New England, overall, has one of the best defenses in the league, and the same goes for run defense. That’s why we have to go with Under 73.5 yards, which is the current line for Walker III. And yes, we do know that Zach Charbonnet is out of this event, and the public believes Walker will run 100+ yards.
