The Edmonton Oilers will be back in NHL action on Tuesday, as they aim to secure a third straight win. It has been a productive spell in the competition for the Oilers, as they have climbed to second in the Pacific Division.
A lot of their success this term has been due to their offensive quality, with no team having scored more goals in the Division. Edmonton have been dominant in their last two games, achieving shut outs against the Vancouver Canucks and St. Louis Blues.

There is likely to be enhanced pressure on the New Jersey Devils. They have slipped to sixth in the Metropolitan Division after losing five of their last ten in regulation time.
Scoring goals has been one of their biggest challenges in 2025-26, as they have netted just 129, which is the fewest of any team in the Division.
However, confidence would have been gained following a win in their latest outing. The Devils held their nerve to record a 2-1 overtime success against the Calgary Flames, with Dawson Mercer and Simon Nemec scoring the goals.
