Event Preview
When we look back on the 2025 Stanley Cup Finals, it could be argued that game three was the point where the pendulum swung in the favor of the defending champions. The Florida Panthers were excellent in their first home game of the series, scoring six times in a dominant showing.
Edmonton had no answer for the dynamic attacking play boasted by the Panthers, and instead lost their cool in the final ten minutes, leading to an all-out brawl between the two sets of players.
Florida managed to get under the skin of their rivals, and if the Oilers aren’t careful, then their Stanley Cup dreams could be effectively wiped out in game four.

The Panthers scored twice in each of the three frames, with Sam Bennett and Brad Marchand once again finding the net. Bennett is now the standalone leading scorer in the post-season, while Marchand became the oldest player in NHL history to score in three consecutive Finals Games.
The only bright moment in the game for the Oilers came in the second period, as Corey Perry’s effort only slightly threatened a comeback. Sergei Bobrovsky was relatively untested in the Panthers’ goal, but the goalie still made an impressive 32 saves from 33 shots.
Panthers vs. Oilers Game 4 Picks
The Oilers fell apart in front of our very eyes in game three, and they now face a daunting prospect of going 3-1 down in the series. Florida was supreme in the attacking areas, and that could spell trouble for the Oilers on Thursday. Therefore, we could foresee the Panthers going within a victory of successfully defending the Stanley Cup.
