Match Preview
There was little to separate Barcelona and Napoli in the first meeting between these sides at the end of February. However, it could be argued that it was a missed opportunity for the team from Naples, as they could only play out a draw. That will give Napoli a huge mountain to climb based on their poor record away from home against Spanish sides.
But, they could have been fortunate to play out a draw after falling behind just after the hour mark. Robert Lewandowski was once again the key man for the Spanish side, continuing his excellent scoring season. However, Napoli struck back with 15 minutes remaining through Victor Osimhen.

The Napoli goal was their only shot on target in the 90 minutes against their rivals, while Barcelona created no shortage of clear scoring chances inside the opening 45 minutes. The trends certainly point to a Barcelona win in this second leg. The La Liga champions have progressed from their last 20 two-legged ties in the Champions League after avoiding defeat in their opening match. They haven’t been eliminated in the competition after picking up at least a draw in a first leg since 2005-06.
