The major soccer action on home turf continues on Wednesday evening for the United States, as Mauricio Pochettino’s side bids to secure their spot in this weekend’s CONCACAF Gold Cup final.
However, the USA will need to perform much better than they did against Costa Rica on Sunday when they needed a penalty shootout to overcome their opponents. Maximilian Arfsten had put the U.S. ahead early in the second half, but a defensive lapse enabled Costa Rica to level the scores. But, the USA avoided a shock departure after keeping their nerve from the spot.
