Europa League: Bodo/Glimt vs. Tottenham Odds, Preview, and Picks (May 8)
Tottenham will feel as though they have one foot in this season’s Europa League final. Ange Postecoglou’s side produced a strong home performance last weekend, as they landed a 3-1 first leg win. However, Bodo/Glimt have already been competitive in home matches in the competition this season, and they will still have dreams of reaching a first major European final.

Event Preview
The pressure continues to increase on Postecoglou at this stage of the season, and even Europa League success may not be enough to save his job. Spurs have a 3-1 advantage following a professional home display last week. Brennan Johnson, James Maddison, and Dominic Solanke scored the goals in last week’s victory.
The victory means that Tottenham have now recorded wins in all five of their matches against teams from Norway. Over that period, Spurs have scored 20 goals and have allowed just four. The defeat also means Bodo/Glimt have suffered losses in seven of their last eleven away matches.

Only nine teams since 2009-10 have failed to progress through to the next round of the Europa League after claiming a two-goal home advantage from the opening leg. It is also a concern for the hosts that they have lost all four matches against English sides.
Bodo/Glimt have also suffered defeats in seven of their last 12 knockout stage matches. However, all three of their wins have been recorded in home fixtures. Tottenham recorded a 1-0 win at Eintracht Frankfurt in their last away match, but they haven’t achieved successive wins on their travels in Europe since November 2013.
Bodo/Glimt vs. Tottenham Picks
Tottenham holds the clear advantage ahead of this second leg in the Europa League. It appears challenging to overlook the prospect of the visitors reaching the next round of the competition, and it only enhances their prospects that they have a 100% record against teams from Norway.
