An early season Merseyside derby is set for Anfield this weekend, and it could be argued that both teams come into this fixture in their best possible form. Liverpool have made a solid start to their Premier League defense, winning each of their opening four.
Despite being unspectacular, the Reds have scored a joint-league high of nine goals. Their tense 1-0 victory against Burnley last Sunday means that the Reds could open an EPL campaign with five straight victories for just the third time in their history.
