Match Preview
The action in Group A at the Olympics rounds off on Tuesday, as France bid to secure top spot in the standings when they come up against New Zealand. France have been very consistent throughout the tournament to this point after winning each of their two matches against the USA and Guinea without conceding a goal.
France’s attacking quality has been the difference to this point, with Alexandre Lacazette and Michael Olise both netting across their opening two matches. However, a defeat on Tuesday could leave the French on the verge of elimination, but that appears unlikely given their healthy advantage in the goal difference column.

Defensively, they will have issues to address ahead of this final showdown in the group stage against France. They will need to be much better in the defensive areas if they are to give France a scare in Marseille, but the odds indicate their outside chance of claiming victory this week.
New Zealand vs France Pick
France appear very challenging to overlook when making picks for this final group stage match. Thierry Henry will field a strong team to ensure that the French don’t fall to a shock loss, and for that reason, we could see them running out as convincing winners in Marseille.
