Brentford will be aiming to make club history across the final two weeks of the season, as they could yet finish the campaign in a European place. Eighth spot could be enough to attain European soccer next season, depending on the outcomes of the FA Cup and Europa Conference League finals.

The Bees come into the penultimate round of matches in excellent recent form after winning each of their last four matches. They are also the highest scoring team in the Premier League outside of the top four in the current standings.

Brentford maintained their excellent run of form last Saturday, as Kevin Schade’s effort was enough to claim a 1-0 win over Ipswich. The victory means that they have now won four matches in the top-flight for the first time since March 1939.

Fulham have been moving in the opposite direction over the last month, as they have dropped down the standings after losing four of their previous five. They could yet end the campaign as low as 12th in the standings.

Their latest loss was a 3-1 home defeat against Everton. Fulham opened the scoring in that clash, but the loss means that they have now dropped 28 points from winning positions in 2024-25.
