Match Preview
It has been a strong start to the new season for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal, as the Gunners are just one of three teams with a perfect record after the opening two matches this term. The Gunners maintained their excellent start to the season on Monday, as they picked up a hard-fought 1-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Arsenal’s winner was scored from the penalty spot by Martin Odegaard. However, they hung on in the closing stages after Takehiro Tomiyasu was sent off midway through the second period. The win saw the Gunners pick up a second straight away win over the Eagles for the first time since August 2015.

Marco Silva will be looking for a response from his side this weekend after Fulham were easily beaten 3-0 by Brentford on matchday two. However, the Cottagers were in the game for long periods, and could have went on to get an equalizer if it wasn’t for a red card picked up by Tim Ream with just under half an hour remaining.
Interestingly, each of Fulham’s last seven Premier League defeats by a margin of three or more goals have been suffered at home. Furthermore, Fulham have failed to win their opening two league games of a season for the seventh straight campaign.
Arsenal vs Fulham Prediction
Arsenal boasts an excellent recent record in this fixture, as they have won eleven of their last 17 across all competitions against the Cottagers. We expect that winning trend to continue for the Gunners this weekend.
