Match Preview

Arsenal’s race for the Premier League title continues this weekend, as they chase maximum points on the road at Man United. The Gunners will be aware that only a victory will keep their fight going until the final weekend, but the destination of the title remains in the hands of Man City.

Meanwhile, Man United will be looking for a response when the Gunners come to town after being thumped by Crystal Palace in their previous outing. United conceded four in a dismal display at Selhurst Park, managing just two shots on target in response.

However, the Red Devils have a fine home record against the Gunners after losing just once in the last 16. But, Arsenal landed a victory in the previous match between the sides, meaning that they will be chasing a first league double over United since 2006-07. The Gunners have scored in their last nine visits to Old Trafford in the league.

United have already lost at home against two teams from London this season, and they will be looking to avoid three or more home defeats against sides from the capital for just the third time in Premier League history. Meanwhile, the Gunners have lost their final away match of the Premier League season in three of the four seasons under Mikel Arteta.

Man United vs Arsenal Prediction

It is incredibly hard to make a case for United based on their defensive displays in recent weeks. For that reason, we expect the Gunners to run out as comfortable winners at Old Trafford on Sunday to land a first away victory at the Theatre of Dreams in over 15 years.
