Indonesian player Janice Tjen will be playing in the second round of a Grand Slam for the first time in her career on Wednesday. However, she deserves respect after accumulating a career record of 104-19. During her career, she has won 13 ITF Circuit events, but is yet to showcase that level of form on the WTA Tour.
After overcoming three qualifying matches, Tjen maintained her excellent form in the first round proper against 24th seed Veronika Kudermetova on Sunday.
