Four-time Grand Slam winner Jannik Sinner has continued to dominate on the court throughout the US Open. The Italian appears to be the outstanding chance to win the event in New York at this stage, and if anything, he looks to be reaching new gears as the tournament progresses.
His most dominant victory to date was achieved in the previous round, dropping just three games in a straight sets demolition against Alexander Bublik. Sinner registered an impressive eight aces in the win, and accumulated an impressive 81% strike-rate on the first serve.

Lorenzo Musetti has caught the eye at times in Grand Slam events, reaching the semi-finals at the French Open earlier this year, and Wimbledon in 2024. However, this will be his first appearance in the last eight at the US Open.
Musetti appears to be peaking at the right time, and his performances throughout the event in New York have been excellent. He has dropped just one set, and comfortably assured his progression to this stage on Monday after dominating against Jaume Munar. The Italian registered seven aces, and converted on seven from eight break point opportunities.
