Frances Tiafoe will be a fan favorite on his return to the US Open this year, as he bids to recapture the form that has twice seen him reach the semi-final stage of his home major.
The American is currently ranked 12th in the world, and he would have gained confidence from a run to the final of the recent Cincinnati Masters. Tiafoe previously enjoyed a run to the final of the same warm-up event on his way to reaching the final four of the US Open in 2024.
His game excels on hard courts, having also reached the quarterfinals of the Miami Open earlier this year. Tiafoe thrives with his first serve, winning 75% of the points on hard courts in 2026.
