Taylor Fritz has a poor record against Djokovic, but he has a game that is perfectly suited to a hard court. The 27-year-old has been in strong form during the event in New York, and showed excellent character to reach the round of 16 late last week.
In the previous round, Fritz was at his clinical best to overcome Tomas Machac. The American will need to maintain his high performance levels based on that showing, winning 91% and 94% of the points on the first and second serve, respectively.
