However, the 29-year-old currently sits in a lofty position of 12th in the world rankings, and she has typically excelled at the US Open in recent years. Muchova has reached the semi-finals in each of the last two years, and her consistency in Grand Slams is reflected by the fact that she has reached the final four in three of the four majors.
