Jessica Pegula will be one of the red-hot favorites in the opening round at Wimbledon this year. The American has already shown her quality on the grass this summer, beating Iga Swiatek in the final at the Homburg Open at the end of June. That form gives her an excellent chance of going deep at Wimbledon this year.
Pegula has been very consistent in Grand Slam events across the last couple of years, reaching at least the quarterfinals in seven majors since the start of 2021. However, she has suffered early exits at both the Australian and French Open already in 2025.

Elisabetta Concciaretto will be a big outsider in the betting at Wimbledon this week. However, she will take confidence from her run to the round of 32 stage at last month’s Eastbourne Open, defeating two seeded rivals before being pushed to her limit when suffering elimination.
The Italian has a respectable record at Wimbledon, reaching at least the second round on both of her appearances. However, she will be making her return to the illustrious courts this year after being ruled out of the 2025 Championships due to injury.
