Five-time Grand Slam winner Iga Swiatek has gone under the radar at Wimbledon this year, but the 24-year-old looks to have solid claims of winning a first Slam on the grass at the All England Club. The draw has opened up for the Pole, who won’t face the top-seed until the final at the earliest.
Swiatek has dropped just a single set on her way to this stage of the competition, and she was at her excellent best in the previous round when overcoming American star Danielle Collins in straight sets. The Pole dropped just five games in that blistering display on Centre Court, and that performance will send shockwaves throughout the draw.

However, 22-year-old Dane Clara Tauson is unlikely to be fazed by this showdown on Monday. Tauson will be playing in the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam for the first time in her career, and prior to the start of this year’s Wimbledon, she had never won a match on the grass courts at the All England Club.
Tauson caught the eye in her third round clash on Saturday, as she overcame former champion Elena Rybakina to win in straight sets. Despite winning, she will need to be more efficient when handed break point opportunities on Monday after converting on just one from ten occasions on Court Two on Saturday.
