Event Preview

The dust has settled on the 2026 FedEx Cup, but important action on the PGA Tour will be staged between now and the turn of the year, as players bid to secure their card to compete on the prestigious Tour for the 2027 season. First up, we have a first-time visit to The Cliffs at Walnut Cove, as the inaugural Biltmore Championship will be staged this coming weekend.

Jacob Bridgeman will have leading claims as the sole player in the field who had qualified for the Tour Championship. Bridgeman finished P9 at the event, and his performances have seen him selected as the number one pick by the captain for the upcoming Presidents Cup.

Jackson Koivun will head the betting this weekend. The American landed the 3M Open earlier this year, and continued his progression by making the FedEx Cup Playoffs and securing a spot on the American team for the Presidents Cup. Ben James has made only eight starts since turning professional, and it is eye-catching that he has cashed in seven of those.

Kevin Yu could prove to be a value play this weekend, despite falling short in his bid to reach the playoffs. He was fourth at the Wyndham Championship and he has collected four top-25 finishes on the PGA Tour in 2026.

Biltmore Championship Picks

Marco Penge should be well-rested after taking a break from action. The Englishman has been consistent on his previous outings, cashing in six of his last seven across the PGA and DP World Tours. His ability to put himself within striking distance from the tee makes him an interesting angle this weekend.
