Event Preview
The eighth leg on the LIV Tour calendar this year sees the action move to Spain, as LIV Golf Valderrama is staged this coming weekend. It will be the first time that this event will be played, and it could be the final time following the merger between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour. The event will be staged at Valderrama Golf Club, which is located just a few miles from Gibraltar.
The course has hosted previous events on the DP World Tour and PGA Tour, and also hosted the Ryder Cup back in 1997. One of the big events that was previously held at the course was the Volvo Masters, with the Andalucia Masters also been staged at the course since 2017.

Both Brooks Koepka and Cameron Smith bring recent major form into the event this weekend. The American landed success at the PGA Championship, while Smith ended the recent US Open in excellent form to finish in the top five. Out of the top two in the betting, Koepka could be the most solid pick after previously landing the LIV event in Orlando this term.
Dustin Johnson will be a popular pick this weekend, as he looks for a third success on the LIV calendar. He landed success in Tulsa at the beginning of May, and could be one to watch. Talor Gooch is also a solid pick this weekend, as he chases for a third success this season. He landed back-to-back victories in Australia and Singapore at the end of April.
LIV Golf Valderrama Prediction
While a number of players bring major form into the event this weekend, it could be worth studying course form. Therefore, Sergio Garcia could be the standout selection at the prices. The 43-year-old Spaniard won four straight events at this course at the Andalucia Masters, and that could prove to be a huge advantage this weekend.
