Scottie Scheffler is the leading contender in the betting this weekend, as the American looks to continue his excellent recent form. The 27-year-old finished third at the U.S. Open last weekend, which was the fourth straight event in which he had finished in the top three. A number of the top finishers from last weekend’s major will be in action this weekend.
Those include Rory McIlroy, who agonizingly finished just a shot off the lead in Los Angeles. Tommy Fleetwood could also be a main contender this weekend, as he was one of the strongest finishers, finishing -7 after the final round to take fifth in the overall standings. Jon Rahm also finished the major well to finish in the top ten.
Travelers Championship Prediction
It should be an open event this weekend, and there is no shortage of leading contenders. However, we will take a chance on Fleetwood maintaining his excellent form, as he comes into this with excellent momentum following his fast finish at the U.S. Open.
