Royval vs. Kavanagh Odds
Fight Preview
Royval is on the downhill, and after losing to the now-champion Van, he suffered a devastating loss, where Manuel Kape managed to knock him out in the first round. Previously, he was better against Tatsuro Taira and Brandon Moreno, both times by split decision.
Royval is a veteran who has fought many tough battles. Now, that’s why he kinda slowed down now, as he took a toll for all those punches he had taken. His gas tank is deep, going the distance in 10 of his 26 bouts. Though in those cases, Royval has a 4-6 record.
Kavanagh is 10-1, losing to Charles Johnson in August 2025 via KO. But after that, he came back to beat Brandon Moreno in Mexico City in the main event of the evening and earn a Performance of the Night bonus. That says a lot about the Englishman.
There haven’t been any big-time names in Kavanagh’s CV apart from these two, but beating Moreno in Mexico suggests that Kavanagh has quite the potential. He is an incredible striker with quick feet who knows how to move inside the octagon. On top of that, his physicality for a featherweight is impressive.
Royval vs. Kavanagh Predictions
The question here is whether Royval keeps up with Kavanagh in the opening 5 minutes. This one is three rounds, which is why we pick Kavanagh, as we are sure that in short fights without the championship rounds, he has all that it takes to beat Royval. His output will be maximized over 15 minutes; if it were 25, Royval would stand a better chance. Yet here, it’s Bautista.
