The defending European champions will resume their chase of a second straight Champions League honor on Tuesday, when Man City collide with Copenhagen. The Premier League side come into this match in excellent form in the competition after winning all six of their group stage matches before the winter break.
In fact, City have now won each of their last eight Champions League matches. This sequence is the longest winning run by any English side in the competition. Meanwhile, only Bayern Munich have enjoyed a longer winning run in the Champions League, with the German side winning 15 straight matches between 2019 and 2020.

Copenhagen defied all expectations to beat Man United and Galatasaray into second spot in the group stage. This will be just their second appearance in the knockout stage of the competition, but they failed to score across both matches on their previous appearance after losing 2-0 on aggregate to Chelsea.
