This is a must-win game for the Columbus Crew, as a victory would keep them in the final wild card spot in the Eastern Conference. The good news is that the Crew is in red-hot form, with four straight wins, scoring at least twice in each of them, including a 2-0 road win over FC Dallas in midweek.

D.C. United is already out of playoff contention and has little but pride to play for. They’ve lost four in a row, conceded two or more goals in six of their last seven, and won just twice in 16 road matches this season. That makes a Columbus home win one of the best MLS bets this weekend.

At -298, the Crew is a short price, so if you want more of a payout, Columbus -1.5 at -111 is worth a look. With the Crew scoring two or more in four straight and D.C. conceding at least twice in six of seven, a two-goal win is very much in play.

This one has big playoff implications in both conferences. The Chicago Fire clinched a postseason spot in midweek with an entertaining 2-2 draw against Orlando City, but they’ll need to tighten up at the back to go on a deep run, having allowed five goals in their last three.

The pressure is all on the Rapids. Colorado sits seventh in the Western Conference, and a loss could drop them outside the top nine heading into the final weekend of the regular season. They’re unbeaten in five, but have won just once in that stretch, with four of those matches ending in draws.

With Colorado drawing four of its last five and Chicago already safe, a share of the points looks likely, and at +272, the draw is the value play in this one.
