For the second straight season, Brighton and Stoke will collide in the FA Cup. These two sides met in the fifth round of the competition last term, with Brighton landing a 1-0 success at the Bet365 Stadium. However, that victory for the Seagulls is their only win in 18 away matches against Stoke across all competitions.

Stoke have landed nine wins in their last 18 home matches against the Seagulls, with eight of the fixtures ending in draws. Brighton have excelled in the third round of the FA Cup in recent history, having lost just once in their last seven fixtures in this stage of the competition. Their most recent defeat was suffered against Sheffield Wednesday in 2019-20. Meanwhile, they could be excellent value to achieve at least a run to the semi-finals, just as they did last term.
