They’ll aim to keep moving in the right direction in what will be a tough road matchup against Duke. C PJ Hall will be tasked with controlling the paint for Clemson.
Duke stormed past ACC bottom-dweller Louisville on Tuesday, bouncing back from their disappointing loss at home to Pittsburgh last week. They’re 9-1 over the past couple of months, but only faced one ranked team in that span. The Blue Devils will need to pick up as many good wins as they can in a weak ACC. They can start by winning this game against Clemson, with a matchup against UNC on the horizon.
Prediction
Clemson’s poor play as of late has made it difficult to trust betting on them, after being a trendy underdog pick for much of the early season. The Tigers still project as an NCAA Tournament team, and should give Duke a bit of trouble, but likely won’t have enough to overcome them on the road. I see this game being closer than many would expect, but with the Blue Devils ultimately coming away with the win at home.
