Atletico and Lille will collide for a first time in a competitive match on Wednesday. However, the Spanish giants have an impressive record against French clubs after losing just once in their last 15 matches. Their only defeat was suffered way back in March 2000 against Lens.
Interestingly, Lille also have a poor record against Spanish teams. The French club have suffered defeats in three of their last five trips to Spain. But, one of their few victories was recorded on their most recent visit when beating Sevilla in November 2021.
