So the Timberwolves eliminated the Nuggets in 6 games, but the cost was very, very high. Anthony Edwards is injured and out for at least the opening two games, Donte DiVincenzo tore his Achilles, while Ayo Dosunmu has calf problems and is questionable for Game 1.
It’s up to Julius Randle now to bring scoring, with the veteran power forward being the only one left with points in his hands. Defensively, Rudy Gobert has to stop his countryman, Wembanyama, for the Wolves to have the slightest chance of pulling off an upset. He played well against Jokic, which boosted his morale.
