Donovan Mitchell and the Cavaliers remain resilient in their playoff run, going through back-to-back seven-game series in the first two rounds. Their energy will be put to the test, but they rightfully secured their spot after eliminating the Toronto Raptors in the first round and the Detroit Pistons in the semifinals. Mitchell delivered a clutch performance in Game 7, averaging 28.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game throughout the series against Detroit. James Harden followed with 19.6 points, 6.3 assists and 5.1 rebounds per contest, while Evan Mobley provided 15.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 2.7 blocks.
Jalen Brunson and the Knicks are in serious title contention after winning seven straight games to eliminate the Atlanta Hawks in six games then sweep the Philadelphia 76ers in four games. This marks their second straight Conference Finals berth; the first time they pulled this off since 1999 and 2000.
