The Dallas Mavericks lead the series 3-2, so it’s up to the Thunder to try and win Game 6. For that, they’ll need to put on a good offensive display. This is something they can do only if their star player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander does well scoring-wise.
He did okay the last time, scoring 30 points, but Dallas’s Luka Doncic scored one point more. It was the first time in the Thunder vs. Mavericks series that Doncic scored more than Gilgeous-Alexander.
Can he do it once again? We think he might and there are several reasons for that. First of all, Doncic seems to be 100% fit and in top shape ahead of Game 6 on Saturday, May 18.
Secondly, he and his teammates know that the biggest danger comes from Gilgeous-Alexander, which is why they’ll do all they can to stop him from scoring a lot. Finally, given that Saturday’s game is played in Dallas, the Mavericks will have their fans to cheer them on and help them get the job done.
