Event Preview
The second Crown Jewel race of the NASCAR season is set for an action-packed afternoon of motorsport, with the Canadian Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500 staged on May 24. The Coca-Cola 600 will cover a total of 600 miles, with each of the four stages consisting of 100 laps.
Despite scoring no points after winning the All-Star Race last weekend, Denny Hamlin’s confidence will likely be high. The American has been in solid form since the third race of the season, finishing in the top ten in all but three of the rounds. He has achieved top five finishes in two of the last four regular season races.
Tyler Reddick continues to lead the Drivers’ Championship at this stage, and he will be chasing a sixth race win of 2026 on Sunday. His recent form is also reliable after successive top-five finishes. Chase Elliott could be an interesting contender at a bigger price after winning two of the previous six races.
Kyle Larson is a previous winner of the Coca-Cola 600, but his recent form raises huge concerns after failing to finish in the top 20 in the last three rounds. Carson Hocevar could be among the most interesting outsiders after performing to a consistent standard throughout the campaign.
Coca-Cola 600 Picks
Plenty of drivers will have interesting claims this weekend, but Sunday could present Christopher Bell with an excellent opportunity to bounce back to form. Bell won this race in 2024, and he has achieved top-five finishes in three of the 12 races so far in 2026.
