Charlotte FC is undefeated since the end of the 2023 Leagues Cup. They’re 1-2-0 since the resumption of the 2023 MLS, with their only win happening against reigning champion LAFC with 2-1 on the scoreboard. However, after that win, they failed to win against Orlando City and Nashville SC, playing 1-1 each time.
What’s got to worry Charlotte FC’s fans is that these guys are very bad when playing at home. In fact, they’re the team with the worst home record in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, DC United is one of the best teams in in the conference when it comes to away games. Wayne Rooney’s men are 4-2-8 on the road.
However, they haven’t been great away from home this summer. They’ve won just three of their last 10 away matches, losing the other seven. One of the reasons for this that DC’s first-choice goalie Tyler Miller has been out with an injury for the last couple of weeks.
