Two sides that will come into the final round of Premier League matches in 2023 in winning form will collide at Kenilworth Road on Saturday. Luton will be full of confidence following their recent 3-2 win on the road against Sheffield United, while Chelsea battled back to pick up maximum points at Stamford Bridge against Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.

A victory for the hosts would be huge for their chances of remaining in the Premier League this term, as it could move them out of the bottom three before the start of 2024. The Hatters have picked up victories in each of their previous two matches in the competition. However, they haven’t won three on the bounce since December 1991. Chelsea will be looking to build their form after a recent midweek victory against Palace. They have a very strong record in their final matches in a calendar year, failing to lose in each of their last eleven. In fact, their most recent defeat to end a calendar year was suffered at home against Aston Villa in 2011.
