Game Preview

The Panthers got blown out at home by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 43-13. They have the 5th-best offense in the NFL, though in this game, Bryce Young threw for only 163 yards, one TD pass, and two picks. And was sacked 5 times.

On the other side, the run defense allowed 258 yards and 3 rushing TDs. Carolina has the worst rushing defense in the NFL, allowing more than 153 yards per game.

RB Josh Jacobs is back for the Packers, and that’s superb news for Matt LeFleur. The Packs were desperate for a runner, as they boast the worst run game in the league, averaging only 60 rushing yards per game.

Green Bay lost in Detroit 20-17, though, we have to say due to officials and their controversial calls. They now occupy last place in the NFC North, despite being 4-3.

Panthers vs. Packers Predictions

Jacobs had 36 rushing and 55 receiving yards in his comeback. We expect him to significantly improve Green Bay’s run game and boost that part of their offense. This is a perfect chance for him to shine, because the Panthers have the worst run defense in the league. So if you are looking for some NFL player props, here is one. Other than that, we pick the Packers to win this game.
