WTA Finals 2026 Picks & Predictions
Three former WTA Finals champions are in the field. Elina Svitolina (2018), Coco Gauff (2024) and defending champion Elena Rybakina (2025) are all chasing a second title, and Aryna Sabalenka, who lost to Rybakina in last year’s final, is still looking for her first.
Gauff has the toughest route, drawn alongside Rybakina and Pegula in Group 1, and she opens against Pegula in an all-American clash on day one. She has been consistent all season, though, reaching the semifinals at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open and winning the Cincinnati Open in between.
Svitolina’s season finished quietly, with a round of 32 exit at the U.S. Open after she failed to make the second week at Wimbledon. Sabalenka has been the most consistent player on the Tour, winning two WTA 1000 titles, but her year at the majors has been frustrating. She lost both the Australian Open and U.S. Open finals to Rybakina.
Mirra Andreeva enjoyed a breakout season headlined by her French Open title. Her hard-court form has been less convincing, with a quarterfinal exit at the U.S. Open and a round of 16 loss in Cincinnati, but she knows how to win here: she lifted the Indian Wells title in 2025. That’s why she’s our value pick at +600.
Jessica Pegula gives the home crowd a second American to cheer. Her one WTA 1000 title this season came in Dubai, but her consistency deserves respect, with at least a semifinal at the Australian Open, the U.S. Open and Cincinnati.
Karolina Muchova and Linda Noskova complete the field after big seasons for Czech tennis. The two met in an all-Czech Wimbledon final, which Noskova won for her first Grand Slam title.
How We’re Betting The WTA Finals 2026
Elena Rybakina’s outstanding run started at this event 12 months ago, when she beat Sabalenka in the final in Riyadh. In 2026 she has won both hard-court Grand Slams, beating Sabalenka in the Australian Open and U.S. Open finals, and she has just been confirmed as the year-end No. 1 for the first time.
She has won four titles from 19 events this season and also reached two WTA 1000 finals, at Indian Wells and the Canadian Open. That Indian Wells final matters: she has already shown this year that her game works on these courts. At +225, she’s the player to beat, and our best bet to win the 2026 WTA Finals.
