The 142^nd edition of the FA Cup will be competed between two of the biggest teams in the world. For the first time in history, Man United and Man City collide in the final of the world’s oldest soccer competition, with City looking to keep alive their dreams of a treble.

City last reached the final in 2019, and this will be their 12^th appearance in the showpiece match. Pep Guardiola’s side has already won the Premier League title this term, and they have been excellent throughout the FA Cup. They eliminated Chelsea and Arsenal in back-to-back home matches in the opening two rounds, before seeing off Bristol City, Burnley, and Sheffield United. City are yet to concede a goal in the FA Cup this season, and they have found the net on 17 occasions.

Erik ten Hag has undeniably enjoyed an excellent first campaign with United, as the Red Devils have already ended their six-year wait for silverware and concluded the season in the Champions League spots.
