Prop Betting Preview

This will be a first competitive meeting between Man City and Inter Milan, but it will be the second clash between English and Italian opposition at the Ataturk Stadium in a Champions League final. On the previous occasion, Liverpool claimed a historic success after beating AC Milan on penalties.

It will be the fifth final pitting English and Italian opposition against each other, with both nations picking up a win apiece. Erling Haaland will once again be a popular selection in the goalscoring markets, as the Norwegian looks to add to his tally of 52 goals in all competitions. However, there could be value elsewhere in the scoring market this weekend.

Ilkay Gundogan has previous scoring experience in a Champions League final, as he found the net in a 2-1 defeat against Bayern Munich during his time with Borussia Dortmund. The German international has been in excellent scoring form throughout the second half of the season, which includes two in last weekend’s FA Cup final success over Manchester United.

Inter could get joy on the counter-attack this weekend, especially considering the combative nature of their two wing-backs. Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco could both be good prices to have a shot on target this weekend, while Dumfries could also offer value in the booking market.

It should be a thrilling final in Istanbul, and there is value across the props markets. We like the chances of Gundogan finding the net, while shots on target for the two Inter wing-backs are interesting. Yellow cards could also be prominent in the final, with Dumfries and Nicolo Barella being the standout selections.
