Event Preview
Excitement levels will be building ahead of the final F1 race in the USA this season, as the first Vegas Grand Prix takes place in November. However, before then, the action Stateside takes place in Austin, as the United States Grand Prix is staged on October 22. This race has been staged since 1908, with the Circuit of the Americas hosting each race since 2012.
Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver in the history of the race, having landed six wins. Ferrari is the most successful constructor, with ten wins. A total of 56 laps will be completed in the race to make up the 308.405 km race distance in the United States Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen landed victory in the race last year, and the pressure will be off the Dutchman in the U.S., as he has already wrapped up a third championship. Verstappen finished second in the Qatar Sprint to seal the title, before the celebrations got well underway after he landed victory in the Qatar Grand Prix.
McLaren certainly appears to be the closest rival at present, with Oscar Piastri finishing four seconds behind Verstappen in the Grand Prix after landing Sprint success. Lando Norris landed third in the previous race, as the constructor turned up the pressure on Aston Martin in the race for fourth in the standings.
It was a disappointing weekend for Mercedes in Qatar, as Lewis Hamilton and George Russell collided on the first lap, resulting in the seven-time world champion retiring. Russell recovered in excellent fashion, as he eventually finished fourth to maintain the teamâs push for second in the Constructorsâ standings.
United States Grand Prix Prediction
Overall, the Mercedes race pace looked very good in Qatar, and they likely would have finished second and third had it not been for the mishap on the opening lap. We expect a shock result in Austin at the end of October, and a chance is taken on Hamilton to end his long wait for a race victory.
