Pick rationale

Analysis & key factors

  • Browns vs. Ravens matchup presents another chapter of their AFC North rivalry.
  • Cleveland lost its NFL playoff chances a long time ago.
  • Baltimore Ravens need to win here to clinch the AFC North title.

For Browns, this is the moment when they play solely for honor and to spoil their rival’s plans. You know how big of a rivalrly is in the AFC North, and beating the Ravens in this one would mean a lot to the visitors. However, the hosts are in excellent shape and have everything needed to secure the triumph.

Game Preview

The Browns had a disastrous season, and they should consider getting rid of Deshaun Watson, no matter the cost. He simply isn’t fit to play NFL football at a high level anymore, and the team suffers dearly because of him.

A big problem for the guests is that they won’t have Jameis Winston at the quarterback position again and that Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start. He had no touchdown passes and six interceptions in two starts, which tells enough about his quality.

The Ravens are hyped to win not only because they have the division title but also because they lost to the Browns in Week 8, 29-24. That’s one of the rare, unpredictable losses they’ve experienced this season.

LaMar Jackson is the top favorite to win the NFL MVP trophy with him, posting 39 touchdown passes with just four interceptions and 3,955 passing yards. But he also has 852 rushing yards for four touchdowns.

Browns vs. Ravens Head-to-Head

In Week 8, Jameis Winston made his first start in Cleveland, and the Browns beat the Ravens 29-24.

Browns vs. Ravens Prediction

Cleveland has motive yet no quality, so we believe they don’t stand a chance here. We bet on the Baltimore Ravens to triumph and cover an 18-point spread. After beating the Texans 31-2, we don’t have to think twice about this.

  • Free NFL pick: Ravens -18
