Chelsea and Newcastle both appear on course to achieve a Champions League finish this season, but a defeat for either side at St. James’ Park on Sunday could be costly. Newcastle currently sit a place higher than the Blues courtesy of their better attacking record. The Magpies have avoided defeat in four of their last five matches.
Chelsea come into this round holding a two-point advantage over Nottingham Forest in the battle for a Champions League place.
