Event Preview
The 2025 FA Cup final is set for this Saturday, as Man City bid to regain the illustrious honor following a defeat in the showpiece match with Man United last season. City have participated in three of the last six FA Cup finals, and they have won the honor in the 2019 and 2023 finals.
Crystal Palace have enjoyed a memorable run to the final third season, but they will still have negative memories of their previous appearance in the final after losing 2-1 against Man United in 2016.

The Eagles have enjoyed an excellent FA Cup campaign this term, scoring three goals in each of their last three matches. Palace’s spot in the final was assured with a comprehensive display against Aston Villa last month, landing a dominant 3-0 win at Wembley.
Man City were also dominant in their semi-final clash, beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 at Wembley. The win means that City have now reached the FA Cup final on 14 occasions, with four of their runs to this stage of the competition coming under Pep Guardiola.
City holds the dominant record based on previous head-to-head matches. They have avoided defeat in each of the last seven meetings between the teams. City also recorded a 3-0 win in the latest meeting between the sides in the FA Cup back in January 2017.
Crystal Palace vs. Man City Picks
Man City stuttered in the Premier League last weekend after being held to a goalless draw by Southampton. Palace were able to build momentum following an excellent showing against Tottenham.
