Match Preview
Musetti beat Frances Tiafoe 3-1, stopping the American, who was in excellent shape in Paris. After winning the opening set, he lost the second one and then broke Tiafoe in the third, 7-5, before easily dispatching the rival in the fourth, 6-2.
The Italian player allowed three break points, saving two, while on the other hand, he converted five of 11. Also, he would win 81% of points on his first serve, which is fantastic. Also, his winner/error ratio was solid, 45-32.

Alcaraz trashed Tommy Paul. We mentioned this in our previous article, where we predicted his much better performance and acceleration. The reigning French Open champion was incredible, taking the first set without a game dropped in half an hour.
The rest was just his pure display of raw power. So we can say that the champ showed his true face following a few matches where he played with 70% of power.
Musetti vs. Alcaraz Head to Head
In 6 meetings so far, Carlitos won five times. He was better than Musetti in the Monte Carlo finals recently and the Rome semis without losing a set. The sole win Musetti recorded was in 2022, when he beat Alcaraz in the Hamburg finals. It was their first encounter.
Musetti vs. Alcaraz Predictions
Two wins without a lost set recently and the overall impression that Alcaraz is one level above Musetti suggests here to bet on the Spaniards’ win. So, we picked Carlos to win and cover a 4.5-game handicap.
