Manchester City vs. Tottenham Odds
Game Preview
To be honest, we expected City to dismantle Wolves on the road. The final result, 0-4, reflected the situation on the field, and it seems that Guardiola quickly taught his new players to adapt to the system.
Haaland was excellent, scoring a brace, while the newcomers Reijnders and Cherki both scored a goal, with the Dutch adding an assist. Also, this was the fifth consecutive match for the Citizens with over 2.5 goals.
On the other hand, the Spurs beat Burnley at home, 3-0. They needed some time to break the Clarets, but after a while, Tottenham found the crack in the rival’s defense and used it.
Richarlison scored a brace, with both goals assisted by Mohammed Kudus. The former West Ham forward was exquisite, and he will be a huge upgrade for the Spurs in the midfield.
Manchester City vs. Tottenham Head to Head
Tottenham had more success against the Citizens last year. They would eliminate them from the EFL Cup, 2-1, and then beat them at the Etihad, 0-4.
City managed to save its honor, winning in London, 0-1.

City is again potent in attack and much faster in midfield. We are still waiting to see how Cherki and Reijnders click, and when that happens, Guardiola’s unit will be the top favorite for the title. Remember what we say. Tottenham is a good team, but we are after Man City here.
