The 2025-26 season has been a struggle to this point for the Columbus Blue Jackets, and that sees them sitting bottom of the Metropolitan Division. They come into this clash on the road after winning just three of their last ten, having suffered six regulation time losses over the same period.
Recent form would also be a big concern for the visitors, as they have suffered defeats in each of their last two. Their most recent defeat was suffered on the road against the Anaheim Ducks over the weekend, losing 4-3.
Wins have been hard to achieve on their travels throughout the season, going 7-9-3 away from the Nationwide Arena.
The Kings will have the home ice advantage on Monday, as they bid to record successive wins. They currently sit fourth in the Pacific Division, but only the Kraken have scored fewer goals in the Western Conference so far this season.
But, their biggest strength has been their defensive record, allowing a Pacific Division-low of just 90. The Kings edged to a 2-1 success on the road last week, with Adrian Kempe scoring twice in the win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.
