After taking a point against Belgium, 1-1, the Pharaons have defeated New Zealand 3-1, coming back from behind. Salah and the boys quickly regrouped after halftime, coming out and smashing the team from Oceania. This win secured them a spot in the eliminations.
Their last three matches all ended with both teams netting. That’s something we didn’t see often in the past when Egypt played, because this unit plays tough and pretty defensive-minded football.
