The Jaguars arrive in the UK confident after securing a 22-17 road win against Cincinnati in Week 4. Head coach Liam Coen’s group has significant experience navigating the travel logistics and international environment at Tottenham Stadium. The Jags are practically the NFL London team, having played 14 times here since 2013. And this experience means a lot.
Now, the biggest thing for the Eagles is RB Saquon Barkley’s condition. He should be available for Week 5, but for the moment, this team has many players who are battling major and minor injuries – DeVonta Smith, Zack Baun, Dallas Goedert, Quinyon Mitchell, Jonathan Greenard, etc. They are looking like a hospital here.
To be honest, we don’t think the Eagles will push some of their players too hard to play this one and travel to London. Jaguars will stay in England, as they play a Week 6 game with the Texans, while the Eagles have to travel back and forth. So we are pretty sure some of their injured players won’t be rushed into a speedy recovery here, but will take their time and recover properly. Meanwhile, the Jaguars are in excellent shape, with two straight wins and the 2nd-best defense in the NFL. Everything is on their side in this case.
