Serie B Format
The teams in three places at the bottom are relegated to Serie C, while the teams in 16th and 17th compete in a relegation playoff. The top two sides are immediately promoted into Serie A, while the third team promoted is decided by the playoffs. This sees the teams that finish between third and eighth compete.
The three teams that are relegated from Serie A take the place of the teams that are promoted. In contrast, the three teams that have earned promotion in Serie C take the places of the relegated sides in Serie B. Team’s face each other twice throughout the season; once at home, and once away. Relegation
At the opposite end of the table, teams will be fighting to stay in the division. Punters can lay their stake on the team that they believe will be relegated into Serie C. Punters will be awarded the returns for this bet when the confirmation of the relegated sides is official. It doesn’t matter where the selected team finish for this market, as long as they are relegated to Serie C the bet is a winner.
